Flying to Europe will become cheaper. If all goes well the European ministers of Traffic will conclude a treaty with the US. This so-called "open Skies treaty' should ensure more competition and lower prices.
Due to this new treaty price fighters can also offer flights from and to the EU, which will hopefully lead to more passengers and jobs. Not to forget: save us money ;) See link for more info Write Comment (0 Comments) |

On March 19 it was 6 months ago I entered the USA. Time surely is flying when you're having a good time. Apparently my temporary resident card is on its way so overall can be said that the whole K1 process takes about 1 year (at least in my/our situation). An overview: - K1 visa progress: Applied (10 jan ' 06);
- Interview+approval (5 sept '06);
- Entry (15 Sept.'06);
- Married (14 Oct.'06);
- Applied for EAD (I-765) & Change of status (I-485) (28 Oct. '06);
- EAD approved (23 Jan.'07);
- Temporary resident card (23 Feb '07) (not received yet)
Within 1,5 year we need to apply for another change of status. This time its about the removal of the temporary status and to change it into a perminant one.
At that time we also need to go to an interview together where we have to answer questions. Write Comment (1 Comments) |
